Salty Hills wine labels – a pattern of thousands salt crystals
Salty Hills is a range of 3 wine labels for red blend, rose and a white blend. Produced by Bulgarian top winery Black Sea Gold, Pomorie, Salty Hills are not fiction – they are part of the landscape near Pomorie and Burgas.
The label depicts large solid background area filled with pattern of small squares printed with hot-foil against textured paper. Those squares represent the idea of tiny salt crystals. The top part of the label ends with hill shaped curve.
The Salty Hills calligraphy is printed at the bottom part of the label with transparent tactile varnish and is digitally created on Wacom Cintiq tablet.
Salty Hills wines were awarded Gold Medal for Best Wine Label Design at BIWC 2014
